The Vollrath CT4-208800 conveyor toaster accepts two bun halves side by side, which are moved through the toaster on a conveyor belt with an adjustable speed. Quick speeds lightly toast product, while slow speeds keep bread in the chamber longer for dark toasting color. Additionally, the top and bottom heating elements have their own variable heat controls for precise toasting. In the toasting chamber, fans blow hot air all around product and cook it on all sides until it slides out the tray at the bottom.
This conveyor toaster features a standby mode for slow periods that can reduce energy use by 75 percent. When turned back to cook mode, the quartz heaters warm up quickly, cutting down wait time so that in one hour, this Vollrath CT4-208800 commercial conveyor toaster can cook approximately 800 slices of toast.
